Glorifying God

1st Corinthians 6:20, “For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's.” Psalms 50:23a, “Whoso offereth praise glorifieth me...”

       There is a precious little phrase in the Old Testament, in Psalms 50:23, which teaches us that one way we can glorify God is to praise Him. Few born-again Christians praise God enough.

Evangelist Billy Sunday (1863-1935) talked about his faith everywhere he went. On page 59 of a biography about the life of Billy Sunday, authored by William T. Ellis, he states:

“Sunday talked religion as he talked baseball. His words smacked of the street corners, the shop, the athletic field, the crowd of men. Any kind of a fair play that will get the runner to the home plate is good baseball; and any speech that will puncture the shell of human nature's complacency and indifference to religion is good preaching.”

Notice in the preceding quote from William Ellis that Billy Sunday loved to talk about his faith as much as baseball. Everywhere that Billy Sunday went, he talked about the Word of God and the precious Lord Jesus Christ. That's how every Christian ought to be. Are you ashamed to bring up the name of Jesus in a conversation? When the rulers, elders and scribes saw that Peter and John were bold in their faith, they perceived that they had BEEN WITH JESUS! Amen! Acts 4:13, “Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were unlearned and ignorant men, they marvelled; and they took knowledge of them, that they had been with Jesus.” Jesus was bold to proclaim the truth! That's why most believers don't stand; they haven't been with Jesus!

As Brother Lester Roloff used to say... “You'll never know Jesus is all you need, until Jesus is all you have left!” Yes Sir, that's so true! Billy Sunday's Christianity was real, and He spoke publicly everywhere he went about the Lord Jesus Christ. Romans 10:17, “So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.” The more we abide in the Scriptures and spend time walking with the Lord, the more bold we will become in our faith in Him. I believe America could be saved if only 10% of the 300,000 evangelical churches would boldly stand! I dare say, not even .01% of the churches are standing! (300 churches).

And may I say, there's no such thing as a 501C3 “church.” The 501C3 corporation is a sole creation of the Godless, Communist, Totalitarian, Police State. A “church” (a called together assembly of born-again believers who meet for the primary purpose of obeying The Great Commission) may operate under the umbrella of a 501C3 state-licensed organization, but the two can never be merged. The state has nothing to do with the church, and vise versa. The entire fraud of 501C3 licensing is the government interfering with the churches, trying to control them (or risk losing tax-exempt status). Truly, the love of money is the root of all evil as 1st Timothy 6:10 teaches. America's churches have bowed their knee to Baal, selling out for tax-exemption; when they ought to be preaching against the unjust and unconstitutional over-taxation of American citizens. Literally, $8,500,000,000,000 are unaccounted for by the U.S. government, while Detroit residents are begging the United Nations for tap water.

I'm not saying that every group of Christians who operate under a 501C3 tax code are bad or evil, I'm simply saying that they are going along with the Illuminati. When the U.S. economy implodes (and it will happen), there will be civil unrest and the government's primary weapon to squelch the public will be the apostate churches, then police brutality.
 

Letting Christ's Light Shine Through Us As Christians

By doing good works as born-again Christians in the name of Jesus, we cause others to glorify God. Matthew 5:16, “Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.” To glorify our heavenly Father, people must first see that we are God's children. Matthew 5:16 teaches for Christians to let their light shine through good works. Whether you let your light shine or not has no affect on your salvation. Eternal life is a free gift, which you simply receive by faith in the Gospel. If you see yourself as a guilty sinner in God's holy eyes, and you've made Christ's death on the cross, burial and bodily resurrection your hope for Heaven, then you are saved (Mark 1:15; 1st Corinthians 15:1-4; Galatians 3:26).

I was digging through my massive collection of old books today and found the classic, “BILLY SUNDAY: THE MAN AND HIS MESSAGE,” by William T. Ellis. Chapter eight is titled, “SPEECH—SEASONED WITH SALT,” which begins on page 58 with a life-changing quote from Billy Sunday (1863-1935)...

That is a great quote! I try to keep my articles simple. I think Brother Lester Roloff said it best, “I want to be a porcupine preacher, so people will get the point!”
 

Billy Sunday Called Sin By Name And Preached Uncompromisingly

Oh, how we need some Billy Sunday type Christians today in 2015 who can't be stopped for God. The Devil will use everything in his arsenal to silence the outspoken believer. When you're a faithful Christian, the whole world is waiting for you to fall. Unlike most Christian leaders today, Billy Sunday preached against sin by name, calling booze “Liquid Devil.” Billy Sunday ripped with scathing words in his uncompromising preaching against gambling, dancing and the movie theatre. Abortion wasn't legal back then, nor dirty pictures, nor same-sex marriage. The Bible was still read in the public schools each morning, and the teacher led the students in prayer. That all ended in 1963 because of the satanic U.S. Supreme Court. What do you think Billy Sunday would have thought about American culture in 2015? If he didn't have a massive heart-attack first, and a big heartache, Billy Sunday would be throwing a fit of righteous Holy-Spirit-filled anger against sin! That's what I'm doing! That's what you should be doing! ...

Sunday seemed to have recovered some of the prophet's lost art of denunciation. He dared call sin by its proper name. He excoriated the hypocrite. He cared not for feelings of the unfaithful preacher or of the double-living church member. As for the Devil and all his lieutenants, Sunday had for them a sizzling, blistering vocabulary that helped men to loathe sin. His uncompromising attitude is shown by this culled from one of his sermons: “They say to me, 'Bill, you rub the fur the wrong way.' I don't; let the cats turn 'round.”

Amen! Isn't that beautiful? Billy Sunday told THE TRUTH! I'm so glad I am speaking out for God. God wants us to SPEAK UP, but the Devil wants us to SHUT UP! Well I'm running my mouth for God! I want to be like Billy, because He was like Jesus! I don't bite my tongue when it comes to taking a stand for God and the Holy Bible. I'm not perfect, but I want to be! I want to be like Jesus, who loved righteousness and hated iniquity (Hebrews 1:9). The Lord may have befriended sinners with the Gospel, but He never befriended sin. It was our sins that nailed Jesus to the cross. Yet the wicked world portrays Christ as a sin-loving man. BLASPHEMY!

My friend, you ought to be A VOICE for God. America needs voices!!! Our text verses says that God is glorified when we praise Him. The psalmist sings aloud in Psalms 86:10-12, “For thou art great, and doest wondrous things: thou art God alone. Teach me thy way, O LORD; I will walk in thy truth: unite my heart to fear thy name. I will praise thee, O Lord my God, with all my heart: and I will glorify thy name for evermore.” You cannot glorify God with truth. Praise and worship must be done in truth Jesus said in John 4:24, “God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.” The world is filled with false religions who vainly worship God in doctrinal error, damned to Hell in their sins without the new birth.

Amen, we are living in some hard times which call for some hard preaching! God pity the pantywaist coward for a minister who rarely if ever rips and scathes against the awfulness of sin with blistering words. You'll have to search long and far to find a faithful preacher who fulfils the following commandments from God...

2nd Timothy “Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine. For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables. But watch thou in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry.”

Bless God, I hope my preaching against sin harelips every dog in the county! Like Billy Sunday and Jack Hyles, the wicked have come out against me with their accusations, distortions, slanders and lies, a cutthroat gang of thugs, because I have come out uncompromisingly against sin and evil—everything from abortion, same-sex marriage, Christian Rock music from Hell, booze, Judaism, divorce, Zionism, adultery, Hollywood, Federal Reserve banking fraud, Las Vegas casino gambling, sensual dancing, IRS stealing from citizens, the demonic New World Order and every woeful evil you you can think of!!! So be it, if the shoe fits, WEAR IT! I have a couple dozen pairs of shoes that I don't like to wear either, but they fit!

We all need to repent and get right with God on a regular basis!!! No one has ever stayed right with God their entire Christian life. NO ONE! If you're a human being, and I don't care who you are, you're either struggling continually to live right for God (Romans 7:14-25), or you're not even trying and have chosen to live in intentional sin. Proverbs 24:16, “For a just man falleth seven times, and riseth up again: but the wicked shall fall into mischief.” Even the best Christians stumble, choosing to go into sin at times. Although some men can live above reproach if they're fortune, no man can live above committing sin. 1st Timothy 5:24: “Some men's sins are open beforehand, going before to judgment; and some men they follow after.” Ah, but God is full of mercy, willing to abundantly pardon, and promises if we seek His forgiveness to separate our sins as far as the east is from the west (those two directions never meet). Psalms 103:12, “As far as the east is from the west, so far hath he removed our transgressions from us.”

I speak of the practical righteousness which every Christian believer ought to have. When we are saved, God's imputed righteousness cleanses all our sins away forever, and we are safe in the Lord Jesus Christ from the risk of ever losing God's salvation or going to Hell. However, as God's child we will still struggle with sin on a continual basis, displeasing the Lord at times. When we sin as a born-again believer, we are judged as God's child (2nd Corinthians 5:9-11). and not as the condemned world. 1st Corinthians 11:32, “But when we are judged, we are chastened of the Lord, that we should not be condemned with the world.” No Christian has God's permission to sin (Romans 3:31), but no amount of intentional or unintentional sin can ever jeopardize the free gift of eternal life, through faith in the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ crucified, buried and risen. 1st Thessalonians 4:14, “For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.”
 

America's Dog-Eat-Dog Culture, And Eat Cat Too!

As a God-fearing Christian, I am so disgusted with everything these days. When I hear about something interesting in the news that I want to share with my web visitors, and I search the internet for an article to link to, I usually have to search through three dozen webpages before I find one decent enough to share. It's really sad! Many website promote naked women (naked by God's definition) or use suggestive images to lure interest. Other websites encourage spying on your neighbour, searching for past arrest records and digging-up any dirt you can find. God hates that kind of malicious behavior, because you are destroying your neighbour. Proverbs 11:9, “An hypocrite with his mouth destroyeth his neighbour: but through knowledge shall the just be delivered.” When somebody commits a crime, that is between them and the law, not everyone else to condemn them and hold it against them the rest of their natural life. We live in  cutthroat culture in America of dog-eat-dog, and eat cat too!

I've found dozens of webpages lately that say things like, “Celebrities that you didn't know were alcoholics.” That kind of low-life advertising is wickedness! It's nobodies business about people's faults, mistakes and sins. I've read about Hollywood celebrities who've walked out of interviews, when the interviewer took a cheap-shot at them by asking about something sinful in their or a friend's past. In 2014, Cameron Diaz walked out of an interview when the interviewer rudely inquired about a best friend's “Drug Years.” Robert Downey Jr. also walked out of an interview earlier this year, when the malicious interviewer decided to ask him about his past sins instead of his upcoming movie. Robert Downing Jr. said, “I Just wish I'd left sooner.” Good for him and Cameron, I'd walk out too!

That's what Brother Hyles did too. I remember the story Dr. Hyles tells of traveling to another city to preach. A church chauffer met him at the airport, to drive him to the church. The driver started to gossiping about the former pastor and Brother Hyles told him to “shut up!” My friend, this is an important way that we can glorify God, by refusing to hear and repeat gossip! We live in a horrible society of hate, condemnation and injustice. I despise the newsmedia, who are nothing more than manure-spreaders! Newspapers spread evil, manure and garbage. The man who reads nothing at all is better educated than the man who reads nothing but newspapers. I refuse to sign-up for any newspaper; I will not help financially support a group of evil, malicious, homewreckers. The newsmedia and newspaper publishers have blood on their hands! God hears the cry! My friend, you DON'T have a right to know!!!

We should all hate gossip and condemning others. Many people say, “all is fair in love and war,” but nothing could be further from the truth. What they're really saying is that “anything goes,” but that never makes it “fair.” There's nothing “fair” about war and hurting others. Americans will stoop to any level to get what they want! That is a heathen attitude, not Christian. We are living in horrible times of coldness, rudeness, indifference, dishonesty, shadiness, disrespect of elders, disobedience to parents, rebellion against God and perversion of every sort. Even so, come, Lord Jesus!

The apostle Paul said that the more he loved, the less he was loved back. 2nd Corinthians 12:15, “And I will very gladly spend and be spent for you; though the more abundantly I love you, the less I be loved.” As Christians, the more we give more, the less generous others will seem. The sweeter that we become in the Lord, the more sour others will appear. The more that we are kind to others, the more rude people will seem. The reason is because as we as faithful Christians are growing in the fruit of the Holy Spirit, carnally-minded people are not growing at all. So as we become more caring, loving, kinder, sweeter, generous and filled with God's unconditional love, the wicked world will appear darker and darker each day.

We are living in a rotten cutthroat society today, and the internet is an out-of-control war zone! Focusing on the sins of OTHERS is the sin of self-righteous hypocrisy. Gossip is like a consuming forest-fire. Proverbs 26:20, “Where no wood is, there the fire goeth out: so where there is no talebearer, the strife ceaseth.” The United States has become a hellhole! We've got criminals in positions of political, legal and executive power running the country into the ground. Hollywood's immorality is worse than a stinking sewer. Indifference is everywhere because of the cutthroat newsmedia, greedy lawyers and crooked judges. Our prisons are privately owned by evil men, who profit by rallying lawmakers to enact lengthier prison sentences.

Every profession in America is dishonest and corrupt today, including the clergy. Everything is shady, rigged to benefit and protect businessman, at the expense of the consumer public. Everything comes with tons of legally-binding fine print, all intended to make the money-hungry corporations and “professionals” (realtors, doctors, banks, et cetera) invincible. This is not the Lord's way. The little guy always gets burned! Scum-lying-greedy-lawyers, crooked-lesbian-judges, compromised-cowardly-ministers, the satanic music industry, satanic Hollywood and the manure-spreading newsmedia have ruined America. Nobody trusts anybody anymore. I can't say I blame people for being leery. The most dangerous sharks don't live in the ocean my friend.

The best way to expose the darkness is to shine the light! The average person today has just accepted it as normal to have criminals in government, jobs being sent to foreign soil (deindustrialization), massive sex-perversion in culture, atheism and evolution indoctrinated into children in the schools, brutal murder in the abortion clinics, same-sex pervert marriages and homosexuality in the schools and even churches. This is all more bizarre than Rod Serling's “The Twilight Zone!” We're living in a frightening version of “The Outer Limits!” Everywhere we go in public, people are becoming weirder, less clothed, hateful, dishonest, more freakish looking (covered in tattoos and blue spiked hair), thin-skinned, insulting, insensitive and Godless.

Our evangelical churches have sold-out to 501C3 state-licensing, and in so doing have sold their birthright. We need America's churches to stand for God, by standing against the blatant evils which are eroding away at our liberties, the traditional family and Christianity! Today's churches are spiritually dead! It's all about money these days, which is why 20,562 reprobate Presbyterian ministers agree to accept same-sex marriages in March of 2015. Woe unto the Godless Presbyterian religious denomination!!! If I had my way, I'd fire every one of those sorry losers and replace them with preaching men of God. ...

It rejoices my heart when I am reminded in Ecclesiastes 12:14, “For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil.” All of the evil monsters behind the social engineering of feminism, the Playboy philosophy, evolution, abortion, homosexuality, the bogus drug industry, the hundreds of counterfeit Bible versions, secular music, Hollywood, Wall Street banksters, the treasonous The White House, and other Communist agendas—which are all destroying the traditional family, individualism, national sovereignty, and Christianity in our nation—will suffer the harshest judgments of an angry God for their wickedness. Isaiah 13:11, “And I will punish the world for their evil, and the wicked for their iniquity; and I will cause the arrogancy of the proud to cease, and will lay low the haughtiness of the terrible.”

NOBODY'S LAUGHING IN HELL

DID YOU KNOW? - Did you know that you don't have to ask Jesus to save you? God has already told you how to be saved, that is, by simply believing that His Son died on the cross for your sins, was buried, and raised up from the dead three days later. Christ suffered on the cross so that we wouldn't have to suffer in a literal burning Hell forever. Amen! You don't have to bow your head to be saved. You don't have to pray.
