King James Was NOT A Calvinist!
By David J. Stewart | May 2018
1st John 2:2, “And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.”
King James Stewart (my great, great, great, great, great, grandfather...lol) was not a Calvinist!!! In an interview with his majesty, at the Palace of St. Theobald's, the year after the conclusion of the synod of Dort, the King said, respecting the Calvinists, who made God the author of sin:
“This doctrine is so horrible, that I am persuaded, if there were a council of unclean spirits assembled in hell, and their prince the devil were to put the question either to all of them in general, or to each in particular, to learn their opinion about the most likely means of stirring up the hatred of men against God their Maker; nothing could he invented by them that would be more efficacious for this purpose, or that could put a greater affront upon God’s love for mankind, than that infamous decree of the late Synod [of Dort], and the decision of that detestable formulary, by which the for greater part of the human race are condemned to hell for no other reason, than the mere will of God, without any regard to sin; the necessity of sinning, as well as that of being damned, being fastened on them by that great nail of the decree before-mentioned.”

King James was NOT a Calvinist!!!
The Luciferian Conspiracy of Calvinism and Lordship Salvation!
Furthermore, even if for the sake of argument, a couple of the 54 King James translated were Calvinists, that is completely irrelevant from their noble undertaking and utmost responsibility to translate the Word of God into the English language. The scholars who produced the blessed King James Bible were working with inspired ancient texts and previous translations; therefore, they produced an inspired Holy Bible! Those 54 scholars DIDN'T produce a paraphrase, nor a commentary, nor a version; but rather, they worked diligently for eight long years to produce a TRANSLATION.
So even if a couple of the translators were indeed Calvinists in their personal beliefs, that has nothing to do with their careful work of accurately translating the Word of God into the English-speaking language. Some of the translators were former Roman Catholics who became Puritans! The point is mute. So when modern-day Calvinists try to bolster up their strawman heresy of Calvinism (aka, Lordship Salvation), remind them that the personal beliefs of the 54 translators had nothing to do with their work of translating the King James Bible. If it had, those 54 men would not have been so honest to use and insert italicized words to identify added words necessary to clarify meaning. Many of the arguments set forth by critics against the King James Bible are unlearned and foolish, which the Scriptures command us to avoid!
